CENTER FOR URBAN AGRICULTURE I

This first design phase focuses on highlighting a massive greenhouse as the 'gem of life' for the community, both literally and symbolically. Its crystal geometry would radiate green life year round, drawing people in from all around the community.

PROJECT ABSTRACT

Set in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Larimer, this project seeks to catalyze current plans to revitalize the neighborhood into a hub of urban agriculture. This composition reflects the overall research and intent of the design of this new community center. The various diagrams and images of analysis were over-layed with ideas of architecture to fit well with the immediate neighborhood, as well as the overall goal to showcase nature in a massive greenhouse that will radiate life year-round to the rebuilding community.

This image was composed using Adobe Suite software.
